Start here if artificial intelligence still feels unfamiliar or unclear. Before you pick up any tool, it is worth building an accurate picture of what AI actually is, how it works, and what it genuinely means for your classroom — including the things it cannot do.
Ready to start
You understand what AI is and you want to make it genuinely useful — not just in theory, but for your actual teaching. This pathway helps you set it up properly: your voice, your materials, your curriculum. So when it produces something, it sounds like you.
Active user
You are already using AI and you want to get more from it. Better prompts, subject-specific resources for the Irish curriculum, and worked examples that show what effective AI-assisted teaching actually looks like in practice.
Every resource on this site works with Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot. The Prompt Lab has a dedicated version for each one. You do not need to commit to a single tool — and you do not need to start from scratch if you switch.
When using any AI tool — whether through this site or elsewhere — never enter real student names, staff names, parent contact details, medical information, SEND assessments, or any other personally identifiable information into a prompt or upload. Use generic labels such as "a student" or "a Year 10 class" instead.
